Vintage Halloween

If you are a huge Halloween fan, you more than likely collect vintage Halloween items. When I was growing up you could buy colorful printed paper goods with different themes. Usually my parents would buy a handful of things for a party, or sometimes to hang on the wall. These same items sell for big money these days.

The other item I remember were the plastic molded masks. They had an elastic strap in the back to keep them on your face. Of course these things made you sweat and were very uncomfortable. They usually were paired up with the rest of the costume. Typically a low end coverup with tie strings in the back. To a kid they were a way to transform yourself into a monster, or a superhero, or a spaceman.
